Within the water portfolio, RTI delivers projects in water sector governance, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, water resources management, community engagement, urban resilience, and institutional capacity building. Project DescriptionThe USAID Morocco EcoRise Activity will leverage the private sector for sustainable, inclusive economic growth and strengthen Morocco’s resilience to shocks and long-term stressors, including water scarcity and drought. Interventions will seek to improve the enabling environment for investment and business growth for a sustainable economy, assist early-stage entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through access to finance and technical support to create and scale innovative solutions increasing economic resilience, and promote a skilled workforce to support the development and growth of a sustainable and equitable economy. The anticipated program is contingent upon donor funding will be based in Rabat, Morocco.Position DescriptionRTI is seeking a Workforce Development (WFD) (IR3) Lead for the anticipated USAID-funded Morocco EcoRise Activity. This role will provide overall technical leadership and guidance for activities related to WFD for a sustainable and equitable Moroccan economy. This role will also lead design, development and implementation of market-driven training and education activities that improve the skills and competencies of at-risk groups, particularly youth, women, people with disabilities, and marginalized groups. This role is expected to be based in Rabat, Morocco. Position is contingent upon award and funding. Moroccan nationals highly encouraged to apply.
