JOB PURPOSE
Lead & manage capacity development activities at the regional level for effective training delivery of all training facilitators of Skills Development. Ensuring effective processes are in place for quality training delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop capacity assessment tools and other resources to measure the capacity of the Trainer, Marketing Associate, and Job placement officer’s performance.
- Conduct training need assessment (TNA) twice a year to identify the area of improvement for each of the SDP’s Trainers, Marketing associates, and Job placement officers.
- Observe the trade-wise training as a regular task to identify the trainer’s improvement area (training delivery, method, pedagogical aspect, etc.) and prepare a database to design the capacity-building training.
- Coordination with the Divisional Manager to prepare a yearly capacity development calendar for all training facilitators and to ensure the capacity building activities are valued and trusted by the operation team at the regional level.
- Enhance staff capacity development by facilitating coaching, mentoring, and localized training to improve expertise in both pedagogical and technical areas.
- Coordinate with the Divisional Manager (RM) and Manager, develop and review all training modules/materials and schedules for updating the training activities effectively.
- Evaluate the effectiveness, FGD findings, Institute visits, and feedback from the management.
- Prepare quarterly reports for the regional and central management.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of training and facilitation methods, tools, and techniques based on Bangladesh TVET context
- Knowledge of module, training materials development
- Expertise in people management and report writing
- Decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities
- Should be result-oriented, flexible, and creative
- Good communication and writing skills in both English and Bangla
- Learning and collaborative mindset
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Graduation in Engineering (Preferably in Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Civil/Mechanical)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years' of working experience. Work experience in technical, training facilitation and module development expertise under the skills sector (Government/Non-Government)
