As a research associate you will advise and support our clients and their target groups in the implementation of practice-oriented development and implementation projects, if necessary, temporarily abroad. Your tasks include the independent acquisition, conception and implementation of internationally oriented research and consulting projects in different educational fields, but especially in international VET cooperation (technical and financial cooperation). You represent FiBS to clients and the professional public and present the results of your work in written and oral form at events or in relevant media.
- Successful studies in education or social sciences or a related discipline
- Professional and academic experience in an international project and consulting environment in the field of education and training; experience abroad in Latin America and developing countries is an advantage
- Experience as a researcher or consultant in the design and implementation of education programs and models
- Concrete professional experience in the designing, implementing and evaluating education and training programs, as well as curricula and teaching materials
- Experience in designing and implementing training and development programs for trainers
- Concrete experience in designing and implementing online learning models for initial and continuing training
- In-depth knowledge of international VET research and consultancy in this environment; concrete experience in consultancy projects in international VET as a short-term and/or long-term expert would be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in conducting qualitative research methods, in particular literature search, content analyses and oral surveys (interviews)
- Strong analytical and methodological skills
- Excellent language skills in Spanish and English; knowledge of German is an advantage
