As a gender specialist, you will collaborate with the relevant local offices in-country and gender contact points of different partner agencies to familiarise individuals with the implementation responsibilities of the Gender Action Plan (GAP) implementation plan. You will collaborate, coach and mentor key counterparts to build up their capacity in all aspects of gender work.
Qualifications, experience and required skills
•A degree in social sciences, development studies, gender, or a related discipline. curriculum and other interventions under the project.
•At least 7 years of experience in gender and development, preferably in education and TVET, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of gender relations and gender mainstreaming in Cambodia.
•Extensive experience collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data,
•Strong knowledge in planning and monitoring on gender indicators of the project cycle.
•Experience working with the Government of Cambodia’s Ministries/Institutions in gender mainstreaming.
