Project description
The overall program goal being the improvement of the employment situation of young adults in Egypt, the module objective of the TCTI project is the following:
The systemic framework conditions for dual vocational education and training have been improved in accordance with the reform strategy Technical Education 2.0 of the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Training.
The core point will be the establishment of two Centres of Competence (CoC) in the sectors of Tourism/Hospitality and Agribusiness. The contractor will be responsible for the following work packages (WP):
WP 1: CoC governance structures are set up and tailored to sectoral needs
WP 2: TVETA master trainers and CoC personnel are capacitated
WP 3: CoCs are equipped and prepared for training implementation
WP 4: A concept for CoC network schools is developed and implemented
Job description
- Support the Team Leader in the overall management of advisory packages, including the coordination of short-term experts
- Promote a change management mindset throughout all work packages
- Moderate/facilitate between ministerial and private sectors needs
- Support other team members in developing outcome-oriented designs for processes and meetings (e.g. steering committee members, see WP 1)
- Support CoC steering committee members in fulfilling their role (WP 1)
- Support the CoC management in successfully completing the change process of transforming their school into a CoC (WP 1)
- Develop the CoC school network blueprint together with expert 3 (WP 4)
- Support experts 4 and 5 in adapting the CoC school network blueprint for their respective sector and facilitating its implementation (WP 4)
Qualifications
- Education/training: University master’s degree in change management or organisational development
- Languages: Knowledge of written modern standard Arabic C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (3 points) and spoken Egyptian (2 points) and English C1 (5 points).
- General professional experience: 8 years of professional experience in managing change processes in public organisations
- Specific professional experience: 5 years of professional experience in managing public-private or multistakeholder partnerships
- Leadership/management experience: 3 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager in a company
- Other: professional certificate as a facilitator/moderator or coach
