Principal lecturer Pekka Makkonen has a PhD in economics and business administration with specialization in Information Systems and Information Systems Education, as well as General Pedagogical Teacher’s Qualification from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland.
Dr. Pekka Makkonen has more than 37 years of experience in the fields of ICT, lecturing, curriculum development, e-learning, development of teaching and learning materials as well as operations management - out of which 32 years in designing and delivering ICT courses at the different levels of education system including higher education and TVET, including designing of competency-based modular training courses and different training programs.
The current research interests include innovation work, agile business and ICT services management.
